Does anyone know if Hunter rank points are being accumulated Pre update? I'd hate to have nothing count for all the stuff we are doing now. Given there is no incentive to do it all again by the time this DLC drops.

Honestly I’m so upset the game ends on a cliff hanger only to find out we will get the ending a month later. I’ve already put 40+ hours into rise since launch. I was gunning for end game just to find out there is no end game. :( (yet)

I kinda hope they dont do the small update every month thing ever again, I would prefer if everything is all in the game at once, then they slowly add 1 or 2 monters every so often then after a year a big expansion if theu want. MHW did it best, I expect the full story and most things in base game not over the course of a year, its MH not an online only game.

Ok, Monster Hunter/ CAPCOM Developers. I have a request for this game as DLC or something to think about for the future. I am a real big fan of pole arm weapons, especially two handed long spears. I am a new player to the monster hunter games and i could not help but notice that there is not any weapon that fits that criteria in the Monster Hunter series. The two handed spear is one of the most used primitive hunting weapons through out history and its not in this game? You have a One handed Lance and Shield, One handed Gun Lance and Shield , and Arial Two handed Insect Glaive. Insect glaive would be the closest to my request. However, The weapon is way to arial based and way to gimmicky with the insect. I HATE insects. Any ways, PLEASE put a two handed spear with no shield or Insect. You can call it the "LONG SPEAR". It can have decent mobility, medium speed, and it can have really cool charge up powerful thrust combos.(like the skills in FF14 for Lance/Spear called Disembowel or True Thrust). Although instead of being mainly arial or mainly ground/land based, it can be a hybrid? Maybe it could be mainly ground/land based but it would have arial wire bug abilities? I NEED THIS PLEASE CAPCOM! I WOULD ENJOY THIS GAME SO MUCH MORE IF THIS WEAPON EXISTED IN THE MONSTER HUNTER FRANCHISE!

I think there are some really cool consequences of the choices that were made with the weapons In world it felt like most of the weapons had this list of mandatory skills Right now I'm questioning if I even want to use something like focus for charge blade because of the silkbind counter I may just choose to drop focus altogether and run power prolonger or maybe something more defensive like evade extender However if I choose to use axe hopper I will likely use focus to make up for not having the silkbind counter And that's just one example I can think of

Mhw is my first mh game and I am absolutely addicted (in a good way). I love the series as a whole and what it has become now. I really loved world and iceborne and I am excited for the full release of rise but sadly I only play on my play station 4 for monster Hunter so sadly I won't be getting rise but I'll be looking forward to watching some gameplay :)

Unfortunately they've always been there. I've played since Tri and man did that game get ragged on hard for being on the Wii ( and being underwater for most of it) as well and 4U on the 3ds. Goes both ways too sadly, i know of some childish switch players as well as pc and others...it's not a great look and hard to invite more people into the community when you see stuff like it.

This is one of the few reasons I didn't want MH to get too popular. Specially so in the west which is a lot toxic than other gaming community. I have followed the MH Team since the very first MH Game(I lived in Japan), and game after game, they always deliver so much more than expected. They are also the most loyal and trustworthy developers you'll find in these days where atrocious micro-transactions, loot crates and such are everywhere. I would prefer if features that are normally part of the base game, such as the HR cap unlock, be left in the base game as opposed to being kept in the first free update. It gives off the feeling of releasing an "unfinished" game, even though the game clearly is very complete by this point. Don't give in to these awful "games as a service" design decisions.

I am so happy that we can solo the rampage if we want too. I’d be more than happy to play it with randoms. But I’m not sure my garbage internet will allow it. I hope that new Starlink satellite internet service comes out soon so I don’t have to worry about this kind of stuff anymore. It's ironic because most people say "um" or "uh" when they speak which is essentially what Ichinose was doing with his pauses and they mocked him for it. Sad really. Irritates me that people could be so disrespectful. Public speaking isn't something a lot of people like to do but Ichinose did it because he wanted to. It connects you with the developers and personalizes the experience. But these people were just immature, regardless of age.

Having played Nioh 2 Im surprised at how many concepts I see used here like the Japanese picture scroll. Rise and Nioh 2 both use the same Japanese lore of Yokai in very different and interesting ways.
