I'm ready for MHSTORIES 2 is gonna make my day I loved the 3ds game of Stories 1 and it was fun this switch game is gonna make me play even more. I already beat Rise and I loved it I normally don't play switch Monster Hunter is the only thing making people want a switch now these days 🤣😛

I'm excited for MH Rise! Looks like I'll be picking it up! Been playing since Freedom 2. ... With that said, I HATE MH Stories! And it seems it's going to be the same for MH Stories 2. The plot is ridiculous. Riders are kids on monsters called "monsties". These monsters grow, as they say in the series, "super big", but in reality are ALWAYS miniature versions of the actual monsters. Makes zero sense. Also, all the HUNTERS in MH Stories are portrayed as brainless "All I do is hunt and have to kill monsters" morons. They also can't seem to take down any monsters in the series either. Always waiting on a kid, on a miniature sized monster to come and take down a regular sized monster. Yeah, sure... What happened to all the lore from the Main MH series? Why does MH Stories do this? Idk, but Hunters from the Main MH Series are more than capable of holding their own. Also they do capture Monsters as well. They also investigate monster sightings, provide info to the guild, as well as learn about the monsters, their habitats, movement, etc. There's more to it but MH Stories just makes them into bird brain idiots who just want to hunt and kill monsters on a whim. MH Stories also is geared towards kids but there's a whole lot of misinformation in this series. Come on Ryozo Tsujimoto! How'd you even let this happen!? Give me a break, Hard Pass!

It’s a possibility. But a slim one. I bet the only reason lavasioth and hypnocatrise were frontier monsters at some point and the only reason lavasioth is somewhat relevant rather than fading into obscurity is because world needed somewhat aquatic monsters and leviathans weren’t really working well with them hypnoticatrice won’t really work since it’s not very unique, a regular bird wyvern with some sleep juice.

You get a base game with a fair amount of content early on (no need for devs to wait until every monster is in the game) so we can all play as soon as possible. And then monthly free updates where we get trickle-fed new monsters/content to keep everyone engaged.
