@TRM Not really. The arrow scene in AOT is a very specific and iconic thing. Also, I was making the AOT comparisons because I really like the show and was watching it recently, I wasn’t saying that the comparison was the one absolute that everyone has to agree with.

The Bow didn't need much in the way of upgrades, but these are some good ones. Focus Shot is definitely the one that was needed if anything. Stamina is always a problem with any weapon that uses it, especially Bow. I found myself running out of stamina with cooked meals a little too fast as far as I was concerned in World, which is worrying since it was Viper Tobi, not THE fastest (that no doubt probably goes to our boy Nargacuga) thing in MHW. So yeah, definitely an upgrade.

This weapon is so perfect that the only boost was the reduction of dash juice!

Ngl I want Bow melee attacks back

@TonyKanameKuran It’s me too. The effects of it look kinda weak in this game. You have that long, dramatic start-up and then the shot itself just looks like a normal arrow. The weapon as a whole still seems amazing.

DEATH FROM THOUSAND CUTS -dual blades LASSO MAN OF THE WILD WEST -sword and shield HUGE GIANT SMASH OF DOOM -hammer I apply coating -bow So they added 3 passives and removed all the fun world brought to the table. Damn you did bow dirty monster hunter. I really hope they have another trailer later on showing off more moves and wayyyy more interesting skill binds. Arc shot looks stupid and niche, seriously apply coating for more attack...., and then built in dash juice, cool?? No idea what they were thinking when creating these "moves". They aren't moves don't kid yourselves its gutted world bow with built in dash juice and an arc shot that people wont hate you for using. Actually so disappointed in this video.

I kinda like the new Bow and think that its simplicity is what always made it such a cool weapon. Not adding a new offensive attack is fine by me.

Then you’re gonna get a kick outta this. That place IS the Flooded Forest. They remade it to fit this game more and made the more aquatic areas suitable for land movement.

huh? they replaced the boulder fall move to buff the team? well i guess that's fine, it was a good move but in multiplayer it kept comboing teammates just for being close. Back then: "oh...look...it's that move...let me get out of the way..." Now: "Oh look! it's that move! let me get in!!!~"

I really like the bow but the most fun I've had is with the Aerial style bow in Gen/GenUlt. Jumping on the monster and shooting down was so much fun. So I may take up Light bow gun after seeing that it now has about the same thing as Aerial style.

That rumor is false. RISE was made by Capcom's mobile games division specifically for the Switch. It's a permanent Nintendo exclusive.

Bow doesn't have that feeling of impact like it does in World.

as a main bow from MH2 i'm a bit disapointed that they chose the pierceing dragon, i definitily prefer the 1000 dragon and as i was watinting for silkbind move is just for support goal...just a couple of buff so again not a single cool move like LS or CB, bow move set have never evolve from MH2, i was hopping to much on bow for some cool thing with wire bug, i'm afraid the bow will never evolve, even bowgun got mine and gatlin gun, bow got a shotgun and then imediatly removed
